Abstract
Capital markets play an important role in the economy, because, good performance of these markets is a key factor in economic growth. So economic development will be achieved if capital markets were efficient. Evidence suggests that investors are not always having rational decision-making in the capital market, accordingly systematic errors occur. This leads to market inefficiency. The aim of this study was to review of cognitive - emotional biases and irrational behavior of investors in the capital market. Therefore, through the structured analysis in valid local and foreign scientific databases, 30 domestic article and 200 foreign papers were extracted and classified about bias and irrational behavior of investors in the capital market. So that in addition to contribute a good understanding of bias and irrational behavior of investors this study provide a comprehensive knowledge in best way for researchers, academics, investors and capital market participants in the period of 2010-2023.
